Dezanol – disinfection procedure

We care about nature - all our products are environmentally friendly

Household disinfection

Disinfection is carried out by wiping or spraying DEZANOL, possibly by immersion. Make a 1: 1 DEZANOL solution with plain water and apply to the surfaces to be treated. Surfaces should be moistened evenly.

For disinfection of highly contaminated surfaces as well as on moldy surfaces, a 1: 1 concentration of the solution is used.

For disinfection of air and surfaces, spray disinfection is used, with the help of a mechanical spray or a rotary applicator.

The disinfectant is left to act until it dries. Toys, dishes and bedding are immersed in the DEZANOL solution for 10 minutes before washing or DEZANOL is added to the washing machine during the prewash process.

Toys and dishes should not be rinsed with water after disinfection.

Disinfection in health care facilities

DEZANOL is used as a concentrate for disinfection of surfaces in health care institutions (floors, surfaces, large and small areas in rooms), air disinfection, disinfection of dishes, bedding, toys, beds, beds for patients in medical offices.

Disinfection is performed by wiping, immersion in a solution of DEZANOL, spraying or vaporization using a rotary applicator.

Performing disinfection with the disinfectant DEZANOL in health care institutions is presented in Table 1.

Disinfection of health care facilities using a rotary applicator

The device for aerosol disinfection in health care institutions consists of a rotary applicator with a high-speed disk (24000 rpm), which is mounted on a mobile device where there is also a container with a disinfectant solution with a capacity of up to 20 liters. The disinfectant DEZANOL is processed into a fine dispersive state with particles of 5 µm in size and is periodically introduced into the air in the room, vehicle, etc.

The aerosol fills the entire space and settles in the form of the finest droplets on the surfaces of the building (walls, floor, furniture and inventory). The aerosol droplets partially evaporate and in this way enter every opening, places that are difficult to access and cracks. In addition to this, the aerosol method enables the disinfection of indoor air and all items placed inside. After application, it is not necessary to wash the surfaces in the rooms with clean water.

Disinfection procedure using a rotary applicator:

Indoor surfaces, furniture and air are disinfected as follows:

1. Switch off ventilation and close windows and doors completely. It is also necessary to cover electrical plugs, electrical equipment and connectors, etc. before disinfection with a rotary applicator.

2. The room temperature must be above 12 ° C and the relative humidity at least 60%.

3. If the volume of the room is less than 200 m³, the rotary applicator is placed in its middle in order to achieve even disinfection of all surfaces (walls, ceilings, floor, furniture and objects in the room). If the room has the shape of an elongated rectangle and its volume is between 200 and 700 m³, it is necessary to divide it in half and disinfect both parts by moving the device with the applicator during the disinfection process to the part that has not yet been disinfected. Using this procedure does not affect the amount of solution needed. If the volume of the room is larger than 700 m³, disinfection is practically performed using two devices on both sides. After the aerosol disinfection is performed, the ventilation is turned on and the room is ventilated in the usual way by opening the windows and doors of the disinfected room.

The amount of disinfectant DEZANOL required for disinfection of the premises is listed in Table 2.
